i was watching gubra last night and i love it as much as i love sepet. it was a heartfelt movie with so many meaningful messages. one of which was of emtpy promises.

with empty promises come disappointments and hurt. promises are a responsibility. it is easy to make but sometimes so hard to fulfil. i'm guilty of making empty promises before, but i've been trying hard to be sure i think before i say promise. it is so amazing, the power of words.

the wonderful three words everbody would love to hear is a promise. a promise double, triple its power. it is so easy to say i love you that sometimes people say it without meaning it and that sucks because it hurts. it'll hurt like a sword through the heart. so many stories i've heard about people being duped by iloveyous and it just takes away the power of the words and it's just so sad and pathetic.

i pray and hope and wish that one day, people will stop making empty promises and that everyone will learn to love from their heart and to mean it when they use the word love.

and that shall be my christmas wish this year.
