Woke up at 3pm today which is extremely good considering I haven't been able to sleep well the past week for God knows what reason :) The sleep was good.
I had a good time on Saturday. ALL THAT WONDERFUL FOOD! I've never eaten so much at a barbeque before really. FAT. Nice to see everybody after such a long time anyway. Chilled at Maccafe with the birthday girl, Jialing and Lennard after. So anyway, Happy 17th Joanne! This is ultra belated because I haven't had the time to blog =)
Sunday was absolutely GREAT. Together with my sisters and sam we met up with Auntie Siong, ashley, tania at this restaurant called MELT at The Oriental. OH MY GOODNESS, I SWEAR! It was a buffet and damn I'm going to grow FAT. There was a section on Japanese, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Western. Oh my, it was simply H-E-A-V-E-N! Food turns me on now. HAHAH. But seriously, the main thing wasn't the different kinds of spread but the DESSERT! Oh my, they had this chocolate fountain and I seriously mean FOUNTAIN. Not big but yeah. Ran our sticks of marshmellow and fruits through that fountain before gobbling them all up =) Very very nice place. The desserts were the best I must say =) Only $42++ each person! MUST GO BACK THERE AGAIN =) I ate so much that I didn't feel like eating the rest of the day. Of course that didn't happen. =)
Went to work that evening and boy was it busy. Yesterday's slam was the worst I've been through so far. One and a half hours of non stop crowd. Phew! But it was super fun being at the bar =) Samuel offered us sandwiches and I couldn't resist even though I felt full. See what I mean about getting fat?
Oh anyway people, Starbucks is giving away free drinks on Thursday 8th Dec from 5pm-7pm. One drink per person. =)
