Orientation today was... I don't know what to say. I guess it was okay. People there are friendly(some), really pretty, fashionable and expressive. haha, yes, there are like only 4 guys in my course. how sad is that, plus, most of them are taking technical theatre. all the hot guys are in fine arts. =( There are quite alot of eurasians. SO DAMN PRETTY. haha, I suggest the SP guys can come down to my school and sit outside the gate and drool over hot babes. lol. So anyway, almost everyone's English is really good. Their enunciation and stuff. Therefore, I shall now speak proper English. No more 'lahs', 'lors', 'mehs' and any other Singlish word. haha. Had 2 hours break after getting our timetable and stuff, so Sabrina and I went to Parkway for lunch. Went back to school after that and Matt(head of faculty of Performing Arts i think.) took our attendence and blah. Went up to a room after that to do some self introductory thing, where we, obviously, introduced ourselves and why we chose Lasalle and to do Theatre Arts. Almost everybody else was going like this, "(with a huge smile on their face) HI, my name's blablabla, I have been acting on stage since I was 5. I love acting because blablablablablablablablabbalbalblablablalablalbalablablablababla" oh great, everyone else has so much exposure in theatre and I have like what, none? Nevermind, I am there to learn and I shall prove that even without much 'exposure', I will do as good or better than them. I know I can. I know I can. I know I can. Just a little bit of encouragement goes a loongg way. =)
We then watched this performance by the students taking their Bachelors degree this year. THEY WERE SO DAMN GOOD. Some sang songs from famous plays, some danced and most did monologues. Ooh and guess what? like 98% were angmohs! Wow. how depressing. Sigh. There was this Indian guy though, he was so damn good! He sang, and he sung so professionally. I think he had the best voice=) Charming.
After that, I rushed down to Shine to get something and then was rushing to Heeren because I thought Shuxian and all were there already. Instead, they were at Marina Square. Walked around Heeren and then Weiling and Wen hui came. Had a great dinner=) Had fun laughing at the guys. They were laughing so hard, I started laughing too, even though I didn't know what they were laughing about. haha. LAUGHTER IS CONTAGIOUS=) Had fun, tonnes;) Muahs`
